World2Meet makes its debut at ANATO 2026 and strengthens Colombia as a strategic market in Latin America
World2Meet (W2M), a leading tour operator in the tourism sector and a vertically integrated group, is taking part for the first time in ANATO 2026’s Tourism Showcase (Vitrina Turística), one of the region’s main professional gatherings for the Latin American tourism industry. With this presence, the company reaffirms its strategic positioning in Colombia and confirms its commitment to developing air connectivity and the holiday offering in the destination.
- At ANATO’s Tourism Showcase, the company is presenting its integrated proposition for Cali and Cartagena de Indias, combining air connectivity and holiday product through World2Fly and Newblue.
W2M’s participation in ANATO marks a milestone for the group, which continues to expand its presence in Colombia through its brands World2Fly and Newblue. In terms of connectivity, World2Fly currently operates two weekly frequencies between Madrid and Cali, helping to strengthen traveller flows between Spain and Colombia’s south-west. This operation is complemented by the new direct connection between Madrid and Cartagena de Indias, which will begin on 3 July 2026 with a weekly frequency, expanding the airline’s long-haul network and providing direct access to one of the country’s leading heritage and cultural destinations.
Likewise, Newblue, the group’s holiday tour operator, has positioned Colombia as one of the strategic destinations in its 2026 programme. Following its first year of activity in the country, the brand has increased its offering by adding Cartagena de Indias and has enriched the programme linked to Cali and the Coffee Triangle, as well as other points of interest such as Santa Marta and the Rosario Islands. This growth is supported by the connectivity operated by World2Fly, enabling an integrated proposition that combines transport and in-destination product.
In parallel, the Bedbank business area will begin direct contracting in Colombia, adding prime product across the country’s main destinations. This strategy will make it possible to strengthen the in-destination offering and to leverage air connectivity—especially the new Cartagena route—to drive all W2M business lines in a cross-cutting way.
World2Meet’s presence at ANATO 2026 reflects the group’s intention to contribute to Colombia’s international positioning through stable connectivity and a structured programme. With the current Cali operation and the new Cartagena route from July, the group reiterates its commitment to the development of long-haul tourism and to Colombia’s relevance as a priority market within its Latin American strategy.
