World2Fly and KOOPS take a step forward and expand the flight uniform: the crew will be able to opt for barefoot

World2Fly, the airline belonging to the World2Meet Group, is incorporating barefoot footwear for the first time as an official option within its cabin crew uniform. This initiative is in collaboration with KOOPS, a Spanish brand specialising in barefoot shoes, which has exclusively designed the FEEL THE SKY model. The footwear is conceived to provide health, comfort, and freedom of movement to cabin crew who spend long hours standing during each flight.

  • The airline of the World2Meet Group backs the postural health of its cabin crew with barefoot shoes by KOOPS.

While other airlines have already incorporated trainers into their uniforms, World2Fly sets a milestone by becoming the first to embrace barefoot footwear — a minimalist type of shoe that respects the natural anatomy of the foot and promotes a more natural gait.
This marks a pioneering step within the Spanish aviation industry towards a “new way of flying”, focused on the health and well-being of World2Fly’s cabin crew. The initiative strengthens both companies’ shared commitment to excellence and innovation.

The exclusive FEEL THE SKY model follows design principles that respect the natural shape of the foot and promote postural health. It combines premium leather, a foot-shaped last, great flexibility, and a thin sole that allows ground feedback to pass through. All of this contributes to greater comfort, freedom of movement, and healthy posture, making it the ideal choice for professionals who spend long hours on their feet during each flight.
Designed by renowned podiatrist Neus Moya and handcrafted in Spain, this footwear reflects a genuine commitment to well-being in the workplace.

In the words of Bruno Claeys, Managing Director of World2Fly:
The collaboration with KOOPS is another step forward in our commitment to conscious aviation, where the well-being of our crew is just as much a priority as the experience of our passengers. FEEL THE SKY is not only an aesthetic breakthrough, but also a statement of intent: to innovate with care.”

For Neus Moya, podiatrist and founder of KOOPS:
This model represents a significant step towards a society with healthier feet. A work uniform is the item of clothing we wear most throughout our lives — it should support our health, not harm it, as is still the case in many industries.”

Both brands share the same philosophy: attention to detail and care in every step. While the World2Fly team designs unique experiences for its passengers, KOOPS handcrafts each pair of shoes in Spain with artisanal precision and a design intended to support the body’s natural movement.
