World2Fly introduces braille safety cards on board, reinforcing its commitment to accessibility

World2Fly, the airline belonging to the World2Meet Group, is taking a further step towards more inclusive air travel by introducing braille-format safety cards across its fleet, which includes Airbus A330 and A350 aircraft.

These cards have been developed by ILUNION Accessibility, part of the ONCE Social Group, and are available in braille in three languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English. This initiative is designed to ensure that visually impaired passengers can independently and safely access essential information about onboard safety procedures and measures. The cards will be available onboard and can be requested from the cabin crew.

In the words of Bruno Claeys, Managing Director of World2Fly: “At World2Fly, we firmly believe that flying should be an experience accessible to everyone. The introduction of braille safety cards is another step in our commitment to inclusion, and a clear example of how we understand customer service: by placing all individuals at the centre. Our goal is to continue progressing towards more human, responsible, and accessible aviation.”

Sergio Verdasco, Business Development Director at ILUNION Accessibility, added: “Having partners like World2Fly, who incorporate accessibility into their operations, helps us to build a better world that includes everyone and to shift the way value is understood.”

Information about this initiative is also available on the World2Fly website, in the section dedicated to passengers with special needs.

With this measure, World2Fly positions itself as a benchmark airline in the tourism sector by integrating accessibility standards into the flying experience, furthering its commitment to a more equitable, inclusive, and considerate model of transport that addresses the needs of all passengers.
