World2Fly adds a new Airbus A330-300 to its fleet
World2Fly, the airline of World2Meet, the travel division of the Iberostar Group, has added a new Airbus A330-300 to its long-haul fleet. With a capacity for 352 passengers and equipped with individual in-seat entertainment systems, this seventh wide-body aircraft strengthens the airline’s operational capacity and consolidates its sustained growth in the long-haul segment.
- With this addition, the World2Meet Group’s airline now operates a total of seven long-haul aircraft, each with 352 seats.
- The new aircraft completed its inaugural flight on 16 June and will support the airline’s Portuguese operations throughout the summer.
- With this seventh aircraft, World2Fly expects to surpass one million passengers carried in 2025.
Currently, World2Fly connects Spain with Cancún (Mexico), Havana (Cuba), and Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, and La Romana (Dominican Republic). These routes are complemented by newer destinations added last year, such as Mauritius — available from June to September — Jamaica from Lisbon during the summer season, Zanzibar — also operated from June to September — and Uzbekistan, which will return to the schedule in the autumn. From Lisbon, flights to Cancún (Mexico), Varadero (Cuba), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), and La Romana (Jamaica) will continue to operate.

This new addition marks a key milestone in expanding the airline’s operational capacity and meeting the growing demand for long-haul travel, with the goal of surpassing one million passengers in 2025 — a milestone that further consolidates its position as a leading airline.
World2Fly’s long-haul fleet now consists of three Airbus A350-900s and four Airbus A330-300s. Designed to offer an optimal balance between operational efficiency, reliability, and passenger comfort, the World2Meet Group’s airline focuses on proven long-haul aircraft that allow for resource optimisation, high onboard standards, and sustainable, responsible operations.
Since its first flight in 2021, the airline has transported over 2.2 million passengers and operated more than 6,500 flights, establishing itself as a key player in the long-haul market from both Spain and Portugal.
