W2M and Europamundo join forces to launch a Joint Business managing tour operations in Spain and Portugal
World2Meet and Europamundo have formalised a strategic alliance for the joint management of the tour business in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. This collaboration materialises in the launch of a Joint Business (JB) that will operate under the brands Kannak by Europamundo and Europamundo, aiming to offer the trade a stronger, more tailored, and competitive proposition.
- The strategic collaboration between the two brands strengthens the product offering in the Iberian market, with adapted itineraries, flights included, guaranteed departures, and a joint commercial structure operating under the brands Kannak by Europamundo and Europamundo.
The alliance combines Europamundo’s international leadership, with over 2,000 tours and multiple guaranteed departures worldwide, with Kannak’s expertise in product creation and distribution in the Iberian market. This partnership will allow the trade to access a higher volume of guaranteed departures, tailored products with included flights and regionalised options, and a strengthened offer that also includes specific programmes for segments such as seniors. All of this is supported by two well-established brands and a team committed to excellence in service.
Products will be marketed under two brands, each with its own differentiated proposition: Kannak by Europamundo with itineraries specifically designed for the Spanish and Portuguese markets, including flights and regionalised options, and Europamundo, with a worldwide portfolio, also adapted for the Iberian market, offering tours without flights.
In addition, established tours in Kannak’s catalogue, such as those to Uzbekistan, Albania, Italy, the Azores, Central Europe, and Morocco, with special departures from various origins in Spain and Portugal, will be maintained, further enhancing the diversity of the product.
Sales for the 2026 season will begin in the coming weeks. Each brand will maintain its usual channels: Europamundo will continue operating via its B2B website (europamundo.com), while Kannak by Europamundo will operate through the current Kannak websites (kannak.es and kannak.pt).
The Joint Business will have its own dedicated team coordinating commercial activities, customer service, product development, and group management. This team will consist of professionals from both brands, working in an integrated manner and leveraging Europamundo’s operational capacity to ensure quality and efficiency in execution.
At W2M, we continue to invest in innovation, collaboration, and joint growth with our agencies. This alliance represents a decisive step in consolidating our position as a key player in the development of tourism products in the national market.
