“Travel Truck”: Azulmarino’s mobile travel agency hits the road in Spain to bring holidays to towns without travel agencies
Azulmarino, the travel agency network of World2Meet, the travel division of the Iberostar Group, has launched its Travel Truck, a mobile travel agency that, from 12 to 23 May, will tour ten Spanish towns that currently have no travel agencies. This initiative marks another step in the brand’s new approach, “Travelling is no longer black or white, travelling is Azulmarino”, with which it seeks to bring its flexible, personalised service model to areas where professional holiday planning advice was not previously accessible.
- Following the launch of its new concept, “Travelling is no longer black or white, travelling is Azulmarino”, the World2Meet network has put on the road a mobile agency that, between 12 and 23 May, will visit a number of Spanish towns with no travel outlets. The aim is to share a flexible and tailored way of travelling with people who currently lack professional guidance to plan their holidays.
- In this way, Azulmarino will recreate in these towns the same level of personalised advice that its clients receive in its stores, through two routes across villages in Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia and Castilla y León.
The launch of the Travel Truck is part of a multichannel communication plan with presence on television, digital media and physical stores. Under the concept “Travelling is no longer black or white, travelling is Azulmarino”, the brand promotes an open, adaptable and customisable way of travelling that places the customer at the centre. The proposal is designed for different traveller profiles and reinforces the role of physical agencies as trusted spaces for expert advice and personal attention, thanks to their close relationship with local travellers and their ability to accompany them from the very beginning with in-depth knowledge of the destination.
To this end, the Travel Truck is currently touring villages in Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia and Castilla y León, bringing the Azulmarino store experience to places without any travel agencies. This innovative action in the sector is structured around two routes. The first, from 12 to 16 May, stops in Argamasilla de Alba (Ciudad Real), Jódar, La Guardia de Jaén (Jaén), Fuente Vaqueros and Montefrío (Granada). The second, from 19 to 23 May, will visit Candeleda and Madrigal de las Altas Torres (Ávila), Simancas (Valladolid), Villamuriel de Cerrato (Palencia) and Sariegos (León).
“With the Travel Truck we bring to life our idea that travelling is no longer black or white, travelling is Azulmarino: flexible, close and completely tailor-made. We are the only network to hit the road so that even in towns that have never had a travel agency, residents can design their holidays with the peace of mind of having an expert by their side,” says Inma Fernández, Director of the World2Meet holiday travel agency network.
With this campaign, Azulmarino seeks to showcase the essence of the brand: enabling travellers to enjoy an experience where agents, acting as trusted advisers, accompany and guide them with the closeness of a friend, involving them in the most important decisions when designing their holidays. As a result, customers obtain the perfect combination of adventure and comfort, planning and freedom. This new way of travelling is encapsulated in the motto “Travel has a new colour”, which blends the best of an organised itinerary with the freedom to choose how to travel, without giving up the peace of mind of being backed by a travel agency with more than 40 years of experience.
