Bytour, the management group for independent travel agencies within World2Meet, will hold its IX annual Convention from 7 to 9 February at an exceptional setting: the Hipotels Sherry Park and the Atalaya Museums in Jerez de la Frontera. The event will bring together over 100 official suppliers and #AgenciasBytour, establishing itself as a key date in the tourism sector.

  • The gathering will host more than 350 attendees, including agencies and suppliers, with a programme focused on efficiency, innovation and networking.

Under the motto “SMART TIME, BYTOUR: Smart Management,” the convention will focus on optimising the efficiency and performance of agencies through strategic tools, innovative products and a network of key partnerships. Combining agile, precise planning with the best product selection will ensure that attendees make the most of every minute of the event.

Bytour’s SMART philosophy promotes not only efficient resource management but also easy access to information and practical solutions to optimise daily agency operations. Every aspect of the convention is designed to foster learning, networking and professional growth in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Additionally, TIME reflects the dual value of the event: the time agencies save thanks to Bytour as a strategic partner, and the quality time shared during the convention.

Antonio Real, Deputy Mayor for Tourism and City Promotion of Jerez, welcomed participants, highlighting the importance of such events for the city: “It is an honour to host Bytour in Jerez and to thank them for choosing our city for this event. The local government is committed to promoting the tourism industry, striving for the highest standards of quality and sustainability. That is why we have worked on enhancing our tourist attractions, such as the Alcázar, and developing new projects like the Lola Flores Cultural Centre 2, which will open this autumn. We are also collaborating with the Andalusian Regional Government on initiatives such as the Andalusian Flamenco Museum, and we recognise the private sector’s investment, with new hotels, museums, performance spaces, routes and activities that continue to position Jerez as a top-tier destination.”

Jesús Juárez, Managing Director of Asociadas W2M, emphasised the importance of the convention as a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships between agencies and suppliers, while driving innovation in the sector: “At Bytour, we work every day to ensure our agencies have access to the best tools and strategic partnerships. This convention reflects our commitment to their growth and development, offering a space where they can share knowledge, discover new opportunities, and above all, maximise the value of their time. We are confident that this edition will mark a turning point in how we understand efficient management in the travel sector.”

Over the course of the event, attendees will connect with industry experts, explore new developments and generate synergies to boost their businesses. The convention will bring together over 250 travel agencies, more than 100 national and international suppliers – including the most important players in the tourism sector – and the Bytour team.

The event will feature a variety of activities to encourage interaction between agencies and suppliers, including One-to-One meetings, where travel agents can meet sponsors by appointment, arranged via the official event app. There will also be plenary sessions in the morning and afternoon in a room equipped with a 360º screen, covering trends, destinations and tourism products.

The workshop will be another highlight, giving sponsors a dedicated space to interact directly with attendees. Participants will also enjoy three social events: a dinner on Friday, a lunch on Saturday, and a gala party on Saturday evening.

With over 350 confirmed attendees, Bytour’s IX Convention positions itself as a key platform for innovation, training and collective growth within the sector.
