Efficiency in the air
Aviation faces the major global challenge of achieving net zero CO₂ emissions by 2050 while adapting to growing demand. At World2Fly, we are actively working to contribute to this goal through a range of initiatives.
Progress in decarbonisation
Our aircraft fleet includes the Airbus A350, which, according to manufacturer data, enables up to a 25% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to previous-generation aircraft.
Since January 2025, we have been gradually using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), one of the key elements in achieving decarbonisation.
In addition, we implement operational efficiency measures that help reduce fuel consumption, such as optimising onboard weight through the use of lighter materials in luggage containers and catering trolleys, as well as more efficient potable water management.
The introduction of the SkyBreathe tool has marked a significant step forward in flight data analysis, helping us to identify opportunities to improve fuel efficiency and, in turn, reduce emissions.
World2Fly is a member of the Air Transport Sustainability Alliance (AST), a collective committed to promoting more responsible aviation.

Flying high with less impact
We are reducing single-use plastics in our onboard services by replacing them with biodegradable alternatives.
Likewise, processes have been implemented to allow for more accurate catering planning, helping to reduce food waste.
Circularity has been a key factor in the design of our crew uniforms, with recycled materials chosen for their production.
Technology in the service of operational efficiency
At World2Fly, we are committed to providing a more responsible experience for passengers by digitalising our in-flight magazine (FlyAway) and offering content through the PressReader platform, reducing paper usage and improving accessibility.
On the operational side, digitalisation has been key to increasing efficiency. We have introduced the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) across our entire fleet, along with tools such as the Electronic Flight Folder (EFF) and the Electronic Technical Log (ETL), which replace physical documentation in the cockpit. Operational reports have also been digitalised using the AGOA tool for ground staff and the Flightman Cabin Manager for cabin crew.
SkyBreathe’s My Fuel Coach app provides pilots with personalised recommendations to fly more efficiently, helping to reduce fuel consumption.

Initiatives for accessible and inclusive aviation
World2Fly has joined the international Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme, which allows people with non-visible disabilities to be discreetly identified and receive more personalised attention tailored to their needs.
We have introduced safety cards in braille on all our aircraft to support the autonomy of passengers with visual impairments.
Internally, we promote the wellbeing of our crews with measures such as the introduction of ergonomic footwear, improving their comfort and health during service.
