W2M drives its growth in Portugal with new strategic initiatives at BTL 2026
World2Meet (W2M), a leading tour operator in the tourism sector and a vertically integrated group, will be present at the Lisbon International Tourism Fair (BTL), taking place from 25 February to 1 March. In Pavilion 4, the company will feature a 600 m² space, reinforcing its position as one of the main drivers of the Portuguese tourism market.
- The World2Meet group consolidates its positioning at Portugal’s leading travel trade fair with a 600 m² space.
- During the event, W2M will be joined by 60 travel agencies, 6 strategic partners and training activities throughout the professional days.
- Key highlights the group is unveiling for the Portuguese market include the launch of Úbico Portugal, World2Fly’s new route between Lisbon and Zanzibar, and the expansion of Kannak’s programme with new tours in Asia.
During the professional days, W2M’s stand will become a strategic meeting point for the industry. The company will be joined by 60 travel agencies, which will actively market its tour-operating offer, as well as by six partner collaborators across the destination and hotel sectors, strengthening the relational and commercial dimension of its presence at the fair.
As part of its commitment to training, W2M will host training breakfasts aimed at travel agents, in which the different group brands operating in Portugal will set out the 2026 product, programme and service updates. The purpose of these sessions is to create a space for direct exchange with the sales teams.
In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy interactive activities, with virtual games and the announcement of exclusive offers designed especially for the fair. This combination of a professional focus and an end-customer orientation reinforces the group’s omnichannel strategy in the Portuguese market.
Throughout the event, World2Meet will showcase its latest developments for the Portuguese market, including the launch of Úbico Portugal, in line with its international expansion strategy, as well as the new Lisbon–Zanzibar route operated by World2Fly, with one weekly departure, available through Newblue.
The company has also recently announced the expansion of Kannak’s programme, strengthening its international offering with a particular focus on Asia. The brand is adding new itineraries in Japan, South Korea and China, with more than 10,000 guaranteed departures between January 2026 and March 2027, delivering a solid proposition with over 280 active tours and a direct contracting model that ensures greater operational control and service quality at the destination.
With its participation at BTL 2026, World2Meet takes another step forward in its development in the Portuguese tourism market, combining commercial scale, product innovation and a value proposition aimed at both the professional channel and the end traveller.
