World2Fly, the airline of the World2Meet group, has today launched its new direct route between Madrid and Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia, with the departure of the first flight marking the official start of operations between the two cities.

Five years after its first flight, World2Fly celebrates its anniversary as one of the key airlines for long-haul connections between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Since the start of its operations, the company has carried more than 3.5 million passengers and operated 10,700 flights, figures that reflect its growth and its role in international connectivity.

World2Fly, the airline belonging to the World2Meet Group, will begin operating its direct flight between Madrid and Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) on 3 July 2026. The route will be operated with a modern Airbus A350, with capacity for 432 passengers, and will offer both Business and Economy classes, ensuring comfort and sustainability. Flights will depart from Madrid at 14:55, arriving in Cartagena at 17:45, while the return flight will leave Cartagena at 19:45 and arrive in Madrid at 11:55 the following day. Tickets are already available for booking on the World2Fly website and through travel agencies, initially for departures in July and August 2026, with additional dates to be added soon.

World2Fly, the airline of the World2Meet Group, continues to strengthen its presence in Latin America with the launch of a new direct route between Madrid and Rosario (Argentina), which will begin operating on 1 October 2026. The connection will offer two weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and tickets will be available for purchase from 2 December 2025 through the World2Fly website and, shortly after, via the usual sales channels.

World2Fly, the airline of World2Meet, the travel division of the Iberostar Group, has added a new Airbus A330-300 to its long-haul fleet. With a capacity for 352 passengers and equipped with individual in-seat entertainment systems, this seventh wide-body aircraft strengthens the airline’s operational capacity and consolidates its sustained growth in the long-haul segment.

World2Fly, the airline belonging to the World2Meet Group, is taking a further step towards more inclusive air travel by introducing braille-format safety cards across its fleet, which includes Airbus A330 and A350 aircraft.
