W2M inaugurates the “KlübCatalina Pier” in the Dominican Republic
World2Meet, a leading tour operator in the tourism sector and a vertically integrated group, held on Saturday the inauguration ceremony for the pier that welcomes visitors to KlübCatalina on Catalina Island, in the Dominican Republic. The event was attended by the country’s President, Mr Luis Abinader Corona, accompanied by officials from the Ministries of Tourism and Ports, as well as prominent figures from the Dominican tourism industry. A broad institutional delegation was welcomed by World2Meet representatives.

World2Meet unveils its vision of the travel journey of the future at MWC 2026 with “The New Travel Project”
As part of the 20th edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), taking place from 2 to 5 March in Barcelona, World2Meet (W2M) is taking part in the Talent Arena with a strategic proposal focused on innovation, talent and the transformation of travel through “The New Travel Project” — a pioneering initiative that aims to improve the travel experience for all stakeholders involved, from travellers to every member of the value chain. Driven by Mobile World Capital and in collaboration with GSMA, the organiser of MWC, the Talent Arena is a forum dedicated to tech talent and innovation.

World2Meet makes its debut at ANATO 2026 and strengthens Colombia as a strategic market in Latin America
World2Meet (W2M), a leading tour operator in the tourism sector and a vertically integrated group, is taking part for the first time in ANATO 2026’s Tourism Showcase (Vitrina Turística), one of the region’s main professional gatherings for the Latin American tourism industry. With this presence, the company reaffirms its strategic positioning in Colombia and confirms its commitment to developing air connectivity and the holiday offering in the destination.

W2M drives its growth in Portugal with new strategic initiatives at BTL 2026
World2Meet (W2M), a leading tour operator in the tourism sector and a vertically integrated group, will be present at the Lisbon International Tourism Fair (BTL), taking place from 25 February to 1 March. In Pavilion 4, the company will feature a 600 m² space, reinforcing its position as one of the main drivers of the Portuguese tourism market.

Acquisition of LTS.
World2Meet completes the acquisition of LTS, a company specialising in inbound tourism services. With this transaction, W2M strengthens its market presence and expands its network of international services.
Opening of new international offices.
Global expansion continues with the opening of new international offices in several strategic destinations. These new locations will strengthen its operational capacity.
Expansion of the travel segment.
World2Meet announces the expansion of its travel segment, focusing on new markets and specialised products. This initiative aims to diversify its offering and enhance its customers' experience globally.
New project VITO and acquisition of Viajes Dos.
World2Meet launches its VITO project and acquires Viajes Dos, consolidating its vertical integration model and strengthening its strategic positioning.
World2Fly, Newblue, Icárion and Flowo are born. Acquisition of Grupo Azul Marino.
World2Fly, the group’s own airline, is born, alongside Newblue, a holiday tour operator; Icárion, a specialist in long-haul travel; and Flowo, an online travel agency focused on the Caribbean. With the acquisition of Grupo Azul Marino, the expansion of the travel division continues.
Launch of Kannak and Bytour.
Kannak, the group’s own European touring operator, is launched. The acquisition of the management group Bytour strengthens World2Meet’s position and enables a broader and more diversified service offering.
Acquisition of Eroski Viajes. The Sphere is born.
The Sphere is launched — a new luxury travel brand focused on exclusivity and excellence. The acquisition of Eroski Viajes adds nearly 120 new travel agencies to the group’s portfolio.
Launch of BD Xperience and Cibeles.
Cibeles, a senior travel tour operator, is launched, and BD Experience is acquired to expand inbound service operations. The hotel management portfolio is expanded through an agreement with BlueBay. World2Fly increases its fleet and routes, adding destinations such as Cali and Zanzibar.
Partnerships with Live Nation Spain and Europamundo. New World2Fly routes.
Alliance between NewTravellers and Azulmarino with Live Nation Spain for the sale of hotel-and-ticket packages. Kannak and Europamundo have created a Joint Business to manage the tour business in Spain and Portugal. World2Fly adds a new aircraft to its fleet and expands its routes to La Romana and Mauritius.
